geh I don't know how much of a blog I can spit out at the moment. I have a cold and the pressure in my sinuses is building up and giving me a headache
beh

I'm going to write anyway! coz i can..sorta

Don't know where to begin. I think I'll just recount...a little, My brain won't function properly.

I'm sorry if this is boring but this is only so I know what I do...I get confused unless i can see it written down.

Mon 12
I kinda can't remember very well....Tim had work so he couldn't come to the Loud Tribe meeting with me...so I went with mum. AH yes. Mumsy and I had an argument because she made me an hour late and Joanna called me asking me where I was and yer..anyway. Wen't to the meeting...missed it all...walked out on mum...and HERE is where the folding began. I took a bunch of the zines that Tim made and started folding, everyone did. Then Tim picked me up from the meeting and we went and picked up uly from the station and went rock climbing..or well they did. I sat there and folded =]
Then we dropped off uly, hung out there for a bit.

Tue 13
Got the buses to wetherill park Stockies and met Kayla and Blake and we folded zines all day at Park's office which is next to the library. Tim had uni so he couldn't come, mum picked me up and then I went delivering the fliers around the neighborhood. Got told to SUK DIK. Spent the rest of the arvo folding and watching freaks and geeks ♥

Wed 14
Tim came over, shortly followed by Ryan. We finished folding the zines and then went to Cook's Hill for steak. Then went back to Tim's and watched Dr Who. Ryan stayed the night.

Thur 15
We woke up lateish, Tim came over. Ryan left. Mum got me to make an appointment for my hair. We dropped off Tim and went to do our hair.

Fri 16
Got tim to pick me up from his work and take me there. Then we called up stef but she was busy =[ then michelle..she didn't pick up =[ and then kate and she didn't wanna go out to eat so we went to her's instead.
First time I see her in forever and the first time I visit her new abode =]
She's started a detox so me and Kate ate her tomatoe soup thingy. Not bad, spicy too.

I felt really couple-y..in a wierd way haha...like grown ups or something....like u know visiting a friend for dinner..at their own place and then driving off. odd..lol but nice I suppose.

Then we went back to Tim's and attempted to clean his room...he refuses to get rid of a lot of junk or put it into proper storage so there's only so much u can do lol..

Sat 17
Me and Kake have the same phone and I accidentally took hers as well and since Tim arranged with stef to go watch a movie she came over early and drove to Granville to give Kate her phone back. We got snack packs from the grumpy lebo and decided we would feel more at ease elsewhere so we ate at Central Gardens. Then picked up Tim from Fairfield Showground and headed off to see How to Train A Dragon in 3D.

That movie was pretty damn good, I really enjoyed it and some of the scenes looked SOOOOO real, it was amazing. I cried...as usual, it was really cute movie.
Then OMG we were walking towards target and Tim spotted a Shamwow demonstration. I WAS SOOOOO HAPPY. it was freekin AMAZING. so...u know..I HAD TO GET IT. lol 2 for $20

Tim got some gloves, then stef dropped us off at the showgrounds again. We were there 2 hours b4 we needed to be and they were cleaning up from the Markets and no one really noticed us so we roamed around and hung out on the bleachers =]
Tim's dad dropped me off and then Mummy drove me to seppies 21st.
It was great, first time in over a year? that it was just the 4 of us (me mikel joel and matt) and yer, bonfire, sitting behind cars, panda's shuffling, wet cake, 2 glorious cold maccas chips, $3 wine, Jameson, vodka, boys in their underwear, shattered vodka bottle =[, gashed leg, tough titties, tripped out and drunk friends =]

I got home pretty sloshed and dead tired..lol possibly not the smartest thing when I could feel the cold coming on already and having to be up for Bring it On! but..ehh it was worth it =]
I 4got to ask for money b4 I went to bed so in the morning I had to go searching for all the loose change around the house so I could get to the showgrounds, I msgd joanna to tell her I'd be late and luckily she had come back home and picked me up on her way ^.^

It was a lot better than I expected, I had fun and got to hear a lot of very talented young people. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to see much of the rest of the shows. I would have liked to see the beat boxing and dancing comps. oh well..maybe next year? There were lots of familiar faces =] Jamie, dani + carlitos, adam (who played the shed) and artiene showed up with andrew hermiz and tuan and jolia and kurt showed up =] Zee was around ♥ she's so lovely, and has some pretty stylin friends
Good fun.
I got half an hour break and ran off with tim and jamie's crew and took over the dodgem cars which was pretty fun (lol...i was somewhat traumatized by them for several years due to a very scary incident with my uncle when I was younger...stef got me out of it ^.^ ) and then we went on the hurricane =]
Got free condoms and got to watched some pretty wicked dance-offs at Cherry's dance party. I was dying a little though..haha I wanted to dance so badly..but I felt stupid dancing on my own and because I was meant to be making sure there was no problems...lol like the couple making out behind the curtains haha.
Fun day =]

Then I went home b4 the show had actually ended with Tim's dad and got to see his mum for the first time in awhile =] She's been in Vietnam, came back yesterday, she's so nice ^.^ she got me pj's and a mobile holder thingy. At this point I was realllly tired BUT Michelle rang...and had gone to the show..lol and we werent there, so we told her to come to Tim's and we hung out which was fun ^.^ haven't seen her in awhile.

Hmmm...looking back on the last couple of days...they've been pretty awesome, seen a lot of people. It's been good =]

It is also now 6.03pm lol...
I made muffins ^.^
and my head hurts a little less.

I'm also one episode away from finishing freaks and geeks =[
I need to catch up on my regular shows
Also thinking about finding my history text book and giving it a read. I never did read the other chapters ^.^

Also, I'll be blogging about the Mapuche's once I'm feeling better and am up for translating.

ANDDDD as soon as next Thursday rolls around Im going to try and watch all the doco's I found on ninja video so if I get capped I don't have to stay capped for too long XD

So one day I was hanging out with Kurt and we realised that there are some pretty wacky sayings in the spanish language. Each Spanish speaking country has their own sayings, metaphors and similies but these are a few that I have collected over the last year or so. Every time I hear my mum or grandma say a new one I text Kurt XD It has become somewhat of a little tradition for me now =]

Saying: La negrita astuta vende fruta.
Direct Translation: The (Astute, cunning, sly, crafty, fraudulent) cute/little black girl sells fruit.
Meaning: This saying is said as a sort of warning that you are/someone else is a cocktease

Saying: No calientes el agua (si no vas a tomar té)
Direct Translation: Don't heat the water if you're not going to drink tea
Meaning: This is also a sort of warning to someone who is being a cocktease. Kind of like, don't flirt and lead someone on if you have no intention of hooking up with them. It is also a play on words because in Spanish (Chilean at least) the word calentar (to heat) is also used informally as a way to say 'make horny'. So 'estoy caliente' = I'm hot BUT it means I'm horny. If you wanted to say I'm hot (because of the weather) you would say 'tengo calor'

Tongue Twister: Tres tristes tigres trigo trillaron tranquilos tragaron
Translation: Three sad tigers, wheat they threshed (To separate the grain from the straw or husks by mechanical beating), calmly they swallowed.

Tongue Twister:Pedro Pablo Pérez Pereira pobre pintor portugués pinta paisajes por poca plata para pasar por París
Translation: Pedro Pablo Pérez Pereira poor Portugese painter paints landscapes for little money to pass through Paris.

Saying:Buscarle la quinta pata al gato
Direct Translation:To look for the 5th leg of the cat
Meaning: Looking for problems when there clearly aren't any in that situation, so you're over thinking it and overcomplicating yourself.

Saying: Para ser bella hay que ver estrellas
Direct Translation: To be beautiful you have to see stars
Meaning: I'm guessing this is a fairly old saying because my grandad said it to me once, I kind of fell in love with this little rhyme/mantra. It means that no pain is too great to endure in order to look your best, this particularly refers to women having to wear painful shoes (stilettos) because it makes their legs look hot, wearing tight clothing to show off curves, waxing, plucking, dying hair, and I suppose nowadays you could extend that into getting cosmetic surgery. Just to clarify, my grandad wasn't a dick, I remember the saying coming up because we were watching a show with really attractive women and I was in awe of them and he explained that constructed superficial beauty comes at a price =) Oh and if you don't get the imagery, it's based on seeing "stars" when you hit your head/get dizzy, like if you've ever seen the cartoon representation of stars around the head when they get hit.
